作者简介:

陈苑苑（Yuan Hrotek），上海崇明出生，1978年考入南京工学院，1988年移民澳大利亚，1996年就读于南澳大学商学院，毕业后从事进出口贸易，2013年完成教育学研究生，现为南澳注册数学教师，常作随笔，在澳洲中国大陆香港美国等地均有发表，2020年出版散文集《蓦然回首》。

内容简介：

本书为作者近年随笔结集。从中国到澳洲，从娘家到婆家，从工程到文学，作者以平静的笔触记述故乡的春秋、他乡的风月、对文学的衷情和笔耕的努力。

本书内容大致分作两部分。一部分书写生命里的“人”和“事”，记述作者亲历的人世情缘，描摹了不寻常的情感遭际和心路历程，略显天地宽阔，人类美好。另一部分记录移民澳洲后的“读”和“写”，记录作者对文字与生俱来的兴趣，表达了身处两种迥异的文化中的颇具个人价值倾向的思考，呈现出作者的学习热忱和精神追求。

The author:

Yuan Hrotek, born in Shanghai, a qualified engineer, migrated to Australia in 1988. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 1999 and carried out an import-export business. In 2016, she gained her Graduate Diploma in Education, and is now a registered Maths and Chinese teacher in South Australia. Her articles have been published in China, Hong Kong, Australia and America.

From China to Australia, from parents’ home to in-law’s family, from engineering to literature, the author writes of life in the homeland, days in the New World, her passion for literature and her aspiration to write in a fluid and highly readable style.
